Portugal Fashion is a Portuguese project that aims to give national and international visibility to the textile and clothing sector. GAFFVisuals was the creative agency responsible for the promotional video on TV and the web.
The concept of the video was structured around a falling pink silk dress. The concept was reminiscent of the bag scene in American Beauty and stands for Stripping Away Prejudice.
It’s in keeping with a Portugal Fashion that is much more than a fashion event, but rather a statement from each designer to modern society.
We wanted to promote the fashion festival in an experimental and minimalist way with two versions. A white version with no concept and this version of Despir de Preconceitos, which focuses on the red dress. Versions were also produced and edited to be released before each fashion show.
The advertising film was published on the four main channels, as well as Fashion TV and SIC Mulher. The visual concept of the water bubbles served to embellish a fresh scenario of fashion and fantasy. One model and two dresses was all that was needed to make this film an experimental concept that we think worked magnificently.
